Special theme of the competition is the design of an innovative towel warmer suitable for hospitality world. To be won \u20ac 5.000 for professionals and \u20ac 2.000 for students.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kicking off the fourth edition of the Design Warm Contest, the first of its kind in Italy dedicated to finding talented new designers to develop innovative designer radiators and towel warmers, conceived by Scirocco, which for the 2025 edition has the world of hospitality as its theme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the first three editions having seen, the participation of more than 600 students (from more than 30 schools and universities) and Italian and foreign professionals (from more than 20 countries in the world), the initiative, which for the fourth year receives the patronage of ADI – Association for Industrial Design, is open to all Italian and foreign students of age attending universities, academies and schools of graphic design and design, as well as architects, designers, engineers (with VAT number) without any age limit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Candidates, individual or in groups, divided into the respective categories “students” and “professionals” must submit, starting from 1 February 2025 and no later than 30 April 2025, a project that contemplates the design of a towel warmer which combines several innovative aspects, both technical and aesthetic, suitable for installation in the hospitality field (hotels, resorts, relais, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winner of each category will receive a cash prize of 2,000 euros respectively for the student category and 5,000 euros for the professional category; in case this project is considered valid by the company, but above all achievable, there would be the opportunity to be put it into production with a specific contract that will regulate the economic relationship with the designer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year’s novelty concerns the jury, which will be composed of the company’s management, furniture-design, hotellerie and architecture journalists, the ADI – Association for Industrial Design delegate, and for the first time the two winners of the 2019 and 2022 editions of the contest itself, who in 2024 saw some of the furniture radiators they designed enter the Scirocco product catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The winners of the contest will be announced in June 2025 with a special awards ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
